What are the real facts regarding the Agency:

There have been many false accusations and rhetoric during the recent budget debate within Congress regarding Planned Parenthood. Here we attempt to provide the facts regarding this partially federally funded program and answer many of the questions posed during the budgetary debate.

1. Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz), indicated in the latest budgetary debate, that 90% of the Planned Parenthood activities are abortions. Is this statement factual or inaccurate, or maybe even an effort to fool the public. Deseret News (4-12-2001) offers one response.

2. Freshman Congressman, Raul Labrador (R-ID), speaking for the citizens of Idaho recently made the following comment; “They don’t want the federal government to be abortions. There’s so much money going to Planned Parenthood. And it’s impossible for us to know where they’re going. They claim they are not funding any abortion with that money, but that’s the main business they do.” Is he right or wrong? Right Wing Watch

3. Obama recently stated that planned parenthood performs mammograms. Is that statement correct or false? First Things (3-30-2011) It appears from this website that Planned Parenthood only refers to women to other parties that perform mammograms.

4. Other miscellaneous facts and information regarding Planned Parenthood.
